Answer: We welcome MasterCard, Visa and American Express. We currently do not accept money orders, personal checks or COD.

Answer: To ensure a prompt delivery of your order, MyEthnicWorld.com processes your order soon after it is placed. If you would like to add an item, simply fill out another shopping cart.
Question: Will perishables arrive in satisfactory condition?
Answer: MyEthnicWorld.com is committed to providing an excellent service and the widest selection of quality products. To ensure the freshness of our products, we may ship certain merchandise from multiple locations AND by Next Day Air or Second Day Air service.

From time to time, items ordered together may not necessarily be shipped in the same package. When this happens MyEthnicWorld.com will provide our customers with a tracking number for all packages.

When ordering both perishable and non-perishable products, our customers will still have the option to receive non-perishables via ground service.
Gifting to India
Question: What is Gifting to India?
Answer: MyEthnicWorld.com is excited to offer a gifting service that allows our valued customers to send high quality products to their friends and families around the world. This service is available for select gift items and countries. You can find your gift by shopping by a specific price range, by the recipient of your gift, by the product category or by the occasion you are gifting for.
Question: Will I be charged any delivery fee or any additional charges?
Answer: No. You will not be charged additional fee. For all items that are available for Gifting to India, the listed price is inclusive of shipping and delivery.
Question: How do you deliver my message with the gift?
Answer: Your gift message will accompany the gift you select. Please be sure to include your personalized message at the time of placing your order. Once you add the item to your shopping cart, you will be asked to provide the recipients name and phone number, delivery address in India and a gift message.
Question: How long does it take for the products to be delivered?
Answer: Once a gift order to India is placed, it will take approximately 4-8 business days for the gift package to be delivered. Expedited shipping is not available for Gifting to India items.
Shipping and Tax
Question: Do I have to pay tax on my order?
Answer: Sales tax will not be charged except on orders delivered to Illinois addresses. State laws require companies to collect sales tax from residents shipping merchandise to states where the company has established offices. As myEthnicWorld.com is headquartered in Illinois, we are required to collect sales tax on orders shipped to locations in the state of Illinois. Illinois state sales tax will be calculated at the time of checkout as required by law.
Question: When will I get my order?
Answer: Orders placed after 10 am EST will be processed the next day. If you live within the continental United States, you will receive your order within 5-10 business days via Super Saver service and 3-6 business days via ground service.

If you would like to guarantee that your order arrives within 1-3 days, you may choose Next Day Air (1-2 business days) or Second Day Air (2-3 business days) shipping service. Please note that shipments are not available for Saturday delivery. For example, if a Next Day Air order is placed after 10 am EST on Friday, the order will only ship on Monday.

The estimated shipping charges for your order will be calculated at the time of checkout. The shipping charges depend on the zone of the shipping destination, shipping weight and method of shipment. Regardless of the shipping option that you choose, you will receive a courtesy email with your order tracking information.

Answer: myEthnicWorld.com has made sending gifts easy and fun. You can send your entire order as a gift or just an item. Just fill your shopping cart with the desired products and select "Yes" to the question "Are any of the items in this order gifts?". You can also personalize your gift order by penning a gift message to the recipient. It's that simple! We currently do not provide a gift-wrapping service, but please be assured that all items are carefully packaged.

Most products have a 30 day return guarantee (CDs, DVDs and multimedia must be returned unopened). The following products must be returned within 15 days:

  • Appliances (include instruction manual & blank warranty card)

  • Games/Sports equipment.


In addition, all perishable foods (i.e. fruits & vegetables) are not returnable. There are also no returns for clothing or musical instruments, except for items received damaged. In this instance, claims should be made within 48 hours of receipt of the item. Please note that all returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee, unless it is due to an error on our website or is received damaged/defective.

If you would like to return an item, a Customer Care Professional will provide you with a Return Number to initiate the return process. Please include the original sales invoice along with the returned item in its original packaging. Mail the merchandise back to the Shipped From Address on the original shipping label. Please address to the Attention of Returns Department as this will expedite your return process. We recommend that you send the package via FedEx or Insured Parcel Post. Most products have a 30 day return guarantee (CDs, DVDs and multimedia must be returned unopened). The following products must be returned within 15 days:
  • Jewelry (include the guarantee certificate)
  • Arts/Craft
  • Appliances (include instruction manual & blank warranty card)
  • Utensils
  • Games/Sports equipment.


In addition, all perishable foods (i.e. fruits & vegetables) are not returnable. There are also no returns for clothing or musical instruments, except for items received damaged. In this instance, claims should be made within 48 hours of receipt of the item. Please note that all returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee, unless it is due to an error on our website or is received damaged/defective.

If you would like to return an item, a Customer Care Professional will provide you with a Return Number to initiate the return process. Please include the original sales invoice (and a guarantee certificate for jewelry items and a blank warranty card for appliances) along with the returned item in its original packaging. Mail the merchandise back to the Shipped From Address on the original shipping label. Please address to the Attention of Returns Department as this will expedite your return process. We recommend that you send the package via FedEx or Insured Parcel Post. This protects you in case the package is damaged or lost in transit. Answer: Unfortunately, once a subscription is purchased, you may not change or cancel it. However, you can change the delivery address for your subscription. Simply call or send us an email with your new address and we will have your subscription rerouted to the new location.

Question: When will my subscription go into effect?
Answer: Once your order is placed, your subscription will begin within two weeks. Frequency of delivery will differ according to the publication you subscribe to. For weekly magazines, if you choose only one magazine, then two issues will be sent together every 15 days. If you subscribe to 2 weekly magazines, then both will be sent every week. With daily edition newspapers, your subscription will be dispatched once a week - all seven issues via FedEx.
Appliance Return Policy
Question: What do I do if my appliance requires repair?
Answer: If you experience any problem, first contact myEthnicWorld.com Customer Service via email. Send a detailed written description of the problem for prompt handling. If repair is necessary, you will be emailed the service authorization number along with packing instructions. When shipping unit, include problem description with return authorization number for proper repair processing. Ship in original box and packing materials. They are specially designed to protect your unit during transit. If the unit is not shipped in original shipping box for repairs, the repaired unit will be returned in proper packaging and the customer will be charged additional $15. Please allow four to six weeks for repair service. The unit will be repaired or replaced (depending on the defect) at the discretion of the supplier and will be shipped back prepaid.
Question: What is the return policy for appliances?
Answer: Claims for returns should be made within 15 days from the date of delivery. Returned products must be in original factory condition (unused), with all packing materials and original boxes (to ensure safety and integrity of the appliance during transportation), instruction manual, warranty card (not filled up), and all accessories. All returns should be shipped back prepaid via ground FedEx, insured for the replacement cost. No refunds on shipping and handling costs. Returns must include a return authorization number provided by myEthnicWorld.com Customer Service. All returns are subject to a minimum of 25% restocking fee. Please allow 2-4 weeks for processing the refunds.
Question: What warranty is provided for appliances and what does it cover?
Answer: The warranty applies to the original purchase from myEthnicWorld.com. The warranty for ULTRA Grind+ unit is for normal home use, against any manufacturer's defect, for two years from the date of purchase. The warranty for IDLEEZ or idli plate sets, Cookeez Pressure Cooker is for normal home use against any manufacturer's defect for one year from the date of purchase. For other products, the warranty period is stated in respective product description pages. Warranty service for these products are covered by the manufacturer. If the product needs service during the warranty period, please follow the product return instructions for prompt repair service. This warranty shall not apply to normal wear and tear (such as belt, grinding stone, brushes, gaskets, bushes, blades etc.) or if the product has been involved in an accident, intentionally damaged, or isused (read instruction manual before use). Under no circumstances is myEthnicWorld.com or the supplier is responsible for any loss or damage, direct or consequential, resulting from the use of the product. This warranty is expressly in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied (statuary or otherwise) and of all other obligations on myEthnicWorld.com's or the suppliers' part.
Clothing Policy
Question: What is your return policy for clothes?
Answer: myEthnicWorld.com accepts no returns for any reason for clothes, except if your clothing arrives damaged or torn. If you receive a defective or damaged garment, notify our Customer Care Department within 48 hours of receipt otherwise there will be no recourse. Once the garment is worn/washed or drycleaned no returns or exchanges will be entertained. If a exchange is processed, you MUST send everything back in the original shipping box and packaging in the exact same condition it was received. All garments for exchange will take the duration of the delivery from India of approximately 4 weeks. If address provided is incorrect or if you move from the time the order is placed to the time the order is delivered, the customer will be responsible for an additional shipping and processing fees of $30. No returns or exchanges will entertained due to change of address.

Answer: Unfortunately, you cannot change the size once your purchase has been processed. Each outfit is handmade at the time of your order and cannot be changed. Therefore, you are advised to study the size chart provided to accurately pick your size. Question: How do I select the right size for me?
Answer: All women's clothing are sold in large, medium and small sizes. The sizes vary in measurements for the bust, waist, hips and shoulders. The measurements are provided in the size details link for each garment. Remember, that all garments may require slight alteration once you receive them to fit you perfectly.
