Coriander powder is one of the most basic spices in Indian cooking. It is used for its distinct but gentle flavor and fragrance in curries. It can be either cooked with the masala or added towards the end of the cooking process with very different results. Dhania powder is also one of the ingredients used in curry powder and garam masala.
